We are often asked to print a photograph onto a plate. The process we use is glazing, it is permanent whereas printed plates will fade quite quickly, especially if left in sunlight. By glazing we can also add wording around the rim whereas printed plates use only the flat centre of the plate – the printing process 
(sublimation) involves a heat press which can’t exert pressure on the rim of the plate. The finish on a glazed plate is similar to your dinner plate or coffee mug at home, the process is the same.
Our plates are white fine bone china. Several styles of plate are available: the plain white plate, the same plate but with a blue, pink, or yellow rim, or with 2 platinum or gold bands around the rim. A top quality lined gift box is available as an optional extra.
Price: from £20.00 depending on the plate style and whether you want the gift box. The postage cost for one plate is £3.25. Full details below. The prices for our plates with the stock designs are cheaper because the costs of producing a plate with a photograph are higher.
Delivery: Your plate has to dry thoroughly before being fired in the kiln. Plates are normally sent by first class post on the third working day after receipt of your order. Occasionally a fired plate will have a fault and we need to start agin. If there is likely to be a delay we will let you know.

- If you want a plate with a decorated rim (2 platinum or gold bands, or a coloured rim) click on your choice in the first drop-down box.
- If you wish to add a gift box, click on the relevant line in the second drop-down box.
- Write the wording you want on your plate in the text box. We will layout the wording as in our examples, but if you wish to give us specific instructions you can do so by adding these in CAPITALS.
- Click on the ‘Add To Cart’ button. Doing so will take you to the shopping cart where you can arrange payment and delivery.
